How to close the service
1. Log in to your Webinterpret Dashboard.
2. Click Compliance in the main menu on the left side of the Dashboard.
3. Click Settings > CANCEL NOW.
4. Follow the remaining confirmation steps to complete the cancellation process.
After completing steps 1-4, Webinterpret Compliance will be closed, and you will receive an email confirming the termination of the service for your account. This means that you will lose access to GPSR Compliance and to Webinterpret as your EU Responsible Person.
GPSR Compliance for eBay
If an active eBay token is linked to your Webinterpret account:
Webinterpret will automatically remove its name and address as the EU Responsible Person for the GPSR service from your listings. This will be synchronized automatically with your eBay store.
If there is no active eBay token linked to your Webinterpret account:
You will need to manually remove Webinterpret's name and address as the EU Responsible Person from all listings that contain this information.
GPSR Compliance for other online selling channels
When using our GPSR service on marketplaces other than eBay, Webinterpret would like to inform you that you will need to manually remove our name and address as the EU responsible person from all listings that contain this information.
Risk and liability after termination
Important: The termination of your GPSR agreement will automatically terminate your right to use Webinterpret's name and address to act as the EU Responsible Person for your listings within the European Union.
Please note that:
- Any previous EU Responsible Person certificate(s) issued by Webinterpret to your company become invalid as of the termination date of the service.
- By continuing to use Webinterpret's name and address and/or the EU Responsible Person certificates after termination, you may be subject to legal and criminal prosecution initiated by Webinterpret.
Action required: Ensure all references to Webinterpret as your EU Responsible Person are removed from all platforms and listings immediately upon termination of the service.
