How Webinterpret’s GPSR compliance solution works

Webinterpret’s automated compliance solution automatically gathers and suggests GPSR data for your listings when available. This data can be applied to your domestic and international (Webinterpret) listings.

1. Connect your inventory: Connect your product inventory to Webinterpret by signing up for GPSR Compliance.

2. Review and validate your GPSR data: Webinterpret automatically gathers and suggests data for your listings to meet GPSR compliance standards. Review, edit and validate Webinterpret’s suggestions directly from your Webinterpret Dashboard, including your items’ EU Responsible Person, and watch your items update within 24 hours.

3. Be compliant and keep selling in the EU: Continue to review and validate Webinterpret’s GPSR data suggestions for your product inventory to ensure your listings remain compliant, allowing you to keep selling seamlessly in the EU.

Note: If GPSR data is already available on your domestic eBay listings, Webinterpret will copy and translate it to your international (Webinterpret) listings. For more information, see Synchronizing your GPSR data to your international Webinterpret listings.

EU Responsible Person

Webinterpret can become your Responsible Person within the EU, provided our technology has assessed and vetted your products and has sufficient data. Additionally, our team will run an ongoing series of audits to confirm that we can continue to support you as a Responsible Person.

See Eligibility for Webinterpret’s EU Responsible Person service for more information.

Localized GPSR labels and certificates generation

GPSR-compliant labels and certificates will be available for your validated items in your Compliance Dashboard.

Labels include the contact information for your EU Responsible Person, the product’s name, and a QR code that leads to a detailed GPSR and product information page—all in your buyer’s local EU language.

Labels must be affixed to the product or its packaging. When the product's size and/or nature do not allow for this, GPSR-compliant information must be printed on a document accompanying the product.

See How to download and affix your GPSR-compliant label for more information.
