Using GPSR Compliance with other online selling channels

Currently, Webinterpret’s Compliance solution is only directly compatible with eBay for publishing GPSR data suggestions directly to your items.

Thus, using GPSR Compliance with other online selling channels (Amazon, Shopify, Magento, Woocommerce, Fruugo, Walmart, CDiscount, Etsy) requires importing and/or exporting your items to/from Webinterpret’s Compliance Dashboard, based on your compliance needs.

Example use cases:

  • If you already use GPSR Compliance to enrich your eBay listings, you may wish to use Webinterpret’s GPSR data suggestions for your products on other selling channels. This can be achieved by exporting your validated items from your Compliance Dashboard to a CSV file (.csv) and uploading it to your other selling channel.
  • If you are not yet using GPSR Compliance, you can import your items to the Webinterpret Compliance Dashboard from a CSV (.csv file), enrich your inventory with Webinterpret’s automated GPSR data suggestions, and after validating them, export them to a CSV (.csv file) to upload to your other selling channel.

CSV files (.csv) are commonly used for sharing large amounts of item information between systems.

Tip: You can also use the CSV import/export feature to manually edit your eBay listings in bulk before or after they have been enriched with GPSR data suggestions from Webinterpret.

How to import your items

1. Go to your Compliance Dashboard and click Upload CSV.

2. Under Choose platform, select the selling channel you want to enrich items for (Options: eBay, Amazon, Shopify, Magento, Woocommerce, Fruugo, Walmart, CDiscount, Etsy) and then click Download CSV template.

3. Fill in the downloaded CSV (.csv file) with the corresponding inventory data for the items you want to enrich.

4. Once the template is filled in, click Select files to select your CSV (.csv file), and then Upload files to upload your CSV (.csv file) to Webinterpret.

5. Wait up to 48 hours for Webinterpret to add GPSR data suggestions to your items. You will receive an email as soon as your inventory has been processed and is ready for you to review and validate.

How to export your items

Note: Before requesting a CSV file (.csv) of your items, you first need to complete their GPSR data and validate them as GPSR-compliant. See How to review, edit and validate your listings for more information.

1. Go to your Compliance Dashboard and use the Status filter to select your validated and published items.

2. Click Actions  > Request a CSV export.

3. A notification will appear indicating that your GPSR data export is being processed. Once the export is completed, you will receive an email with a link to download your CSV (.csv file). The link is active for 30 days from the time it is sent.
