Compatible international shipping options (set up through eBay)
You can add Webinterpret-compatible international shipping to your domestic listings on eBay, which will also be displayed on your international Webinterpret listings.
The sections below summarize each compatible shipping option:
- International postage: Flat rate
- International postage: Rate table
- eBay international standard delivery (US sellers only)
International postage: Flat rate
There are different ways to add shipping to your listings on eBay; however, we recommend using Business Policies to set up International postage: Flat rate.
1. Log in to your Seller Hub on eBay, and go to Manage active listings > Settings > Business Policies on the left. Note: Any pre-existing shipping option(s) will be visible on this page.
2. Create a new policy by clicking Create policy > Postage under Manage Business Policies.
3. Name your new policy and add a description.
4. Add your domestic shipping preferences under Domestic postage (if they have not been pre-populated with your existing shipping settings by default). Note: International postage cannot be added until Domestic postage has been completed.
5. Under International postage, select Flat: same cost to all buyers.
6. Create (up to 5) customized international shipping options that contain any of the available locations and services depending on your preferences.
Important: Listings that have the buyers contact for costs option are not eligible for listing internationally with Webinterpret.
International postage: Rate table
You can create up to 60 unique rate tables to specify shipping options and costs for various domestic and international regions. Rate tables allow you to calculate shipping costs by item, weight, or surcharge, each suitable for different types of items and shipping scenarios.
From the International postage section, there is an option to enable a rate table under Delivery rate tables > Apply international postage rate tables > Create/Edit rate tables.
Learn more about rate tables in eBay’s article Using shipping rate tables.
