Translating categories on eBay - overview
Each international eBay site have their own sub-categories. Don’t worry if after being translated you don’t find the exact same category as the original one.
eBay categories on eBay markets can differ. For this reason we mirror them whenever possible (1:1) or look for the most equivalent category to match your original category. The destination category will always match with the source category (all items from the source category will fit in target category).
Translating categories on eBay - example
For example, women’s trainers are under different categories in the US and in the UK.
In the UK they will be under the category:
Clothes, Shoes & Accessories > Women's Shoes > Trainers
And the US they will be under the category:
Clothing, Shoes & Accessories > Women's Shoes > Athletic
This is not a technical issue but a normal feature.
