Logging in to Webinterpret
You have two options for logging into your Webinterpret account: using your eBay account credentials, or your email address and password.
Visit the Webinterpret log in page to proceed with one of the two options below.
Option 1: Logging in with eBay
How to log in with your eBay account:
1. From the log in page, click Log in with eBay. This will redirect you to eBay, where you will authenticate your account credentials.
2. Enter your eBay account credentials. After successfully logging in with eBay, you will be redirected to your Webinterpret Dashboard.
Option 2: Logging in with your email address and password
How to log in with your email address and password:
1. From the log in page, click I want to log in with my email.
2. Enter your email address and password.
3. Upon entering the correct password, Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) will be activated, and a one-time code will be sent to your registered email address.
4. Enter the code within 10 minutes in the Verification code field to complete your account authentication. After successfully logging in, you will be redirected to your Webinterpret Dashboard.
Using Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an extra layer of security that helps protect your account, even if your password is compromised. This process ensures only authorized users can access the account, safeguarding your data and account information.
How Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) works
- After entering your email and password, a one-time code is sent to your registered email address. This code is valid for 10 minutes and must be entered within that window.
- If you did not receive a code or the 10-minute window expired, you can request a new one by clicking Resend the code from the same window.
The code validation process
- You have five (5) attempts to enter the correct code in the Verification code field.
- Five (5) unsuccessful attempts to enter the correct code will result in a log in failure. Five (5) log in failures will result in your account being locked for security purposes.
Important: Subsequent log-in attempts using your email address and password will automatically redirect you to the "Your account is locked" window. Follow the steps in the window (explained in the next section) to unlock your account.
Unlocking your account
You have two options for unlocking your Webinterpret account: logging in with eBay or contacting our Support Team.
Option 1: Logging in with eBay
Try logging in to your account using your eBay account credentials (click Log in with eBay and follow the authentication prompts outlined above).
- If successful, your account will automatically be unlocked, and you will be redirected to your Webinterpret Dashboard.
- Once your account has been unlocked, you can resume using either log in method as expected for future account sessions.
Option 2: Contacting our Support Team
Contact our Support Team to let us know that your account is locked.
- Be prepared to verify your identity and await a manual review of your account information.
-
After the review is complete, you will receive an email notification indicating your account access has been restored.
Best practices for account security
Review the following best practices for enhancing your account security:
- Keep your email account secure to prevent unauthorized access.
- Never share your one-time codes with anyone.
- Ensure you have access to your registered email before attempting to log in.
- Use the eBay log in method as a backup if you have trouble using your email address and password for log in.
