[Feature update] Smart Strategy is evolving to ensure your campaigns remain competitive

Learn about the latest update for the Smart Strategy ad rate that will take effect on April 29, 2024. Smart Strategy is the default ad rate for Promoted Listings Standard with Webinterpret. Ad rates can be managed on a per-campaign and per-market basis for your international and domestic Promoted Listings Standard campaigns.

What is the Smart Strategy ad rate update?

If you are using the Smart Strategy ad rate, it will automatically be adjusted on April 29, 2024. 

The details of the change are as follows:

  • Previous Ad Rate: The maximum ad rate for Smart Strategy was 3.5%.
  • New Ad Rate: The maximum ad rate for Smart Strategy will be updated to 6.5%.

If you do not wish to benefit from the updated ad rate, you can select a different ad rate strategy before April 29, 2024, and Webinterpret will update your campaigns accordingly.

 

How to update your ad rate

To update your current ad rate, you will need to select your new ad rate preference on the campaign and market levels.

Note: Listings already included in active campaigns will adopt ad rates set-up from the campaign level.

How to manage your ad rate per campaign

1. Log in to your Advertising Dashboard and scroll down to your latest available campaigns.

2. Under Campaign, click the edit icon under the Ad rate column.

3. Edit your ad rate based on one of the ad rate options and click Save.

How to manage your ad rate per market

1. Click Settings in your Advertising Dashboard.

2. Under Promoted Listings Standard, click ACTIONS > EDIT AD RATE next to the market.

3. Edit your ad rate based on one of the ad rate options and click Save.

Applying an ad rate on the market level means that new campaigns will be created using this type of ad rate.
